So my boyfriend and I just got in a huge fight over his lack of care for our daughter.
Our daughter is 5w old, she was born very small so we have to be pedantic about her feeding until she reaches 3kgs. Today I asked if he could pause is game to give her a bottle bc I needed a break. He said it was no problem and took her to feed her. Not even 5 minutes in he says "she's not drinking it she's going to sleep" so I said "go give her a nappy change to wake her up" and he didn't.
Instead he said he was giving her a "break".. idk how a break would help when she's already falling asleep. I let him go for a while then heard her starting to get cranky (she was clearly hungry) and he just sat there continuing to play his game.
So I grabbed our daughter, changed her nappy and finished off her bottle. He then asked why I was crying, rather then loosing it I just told him I wasn't ready to talk about it.
He turned around and played his game more. Then looks at me a little later and says "so are you gonna tell me why you're crying" and I lost it. I told him I'm sick of being the only parent who does anything, I don't get any fucking sleep, he knows I'm battling a few health issues after having her yet still doesn't help. He does NOTHING for her unless I ask but I feel like I shouldn't have to ask!
However I feel like the asshole bc he walked away and I'm pretty sure he was crying.. he never cries. So that makes me feel like shit..
