My (28M) girlfriend (26M), recently injured herself at my place. She had cuts and was bleeding. This happened at my place and she had not brought her car.
She wanted me to drive her to the hospital, but I refused as I did not want my car to get all bloody, even with the towel I had tied on her, I did not trust it to last through the drive.
I told her we should call an ambulance instead. She reluctantly agreed and the ambulance took her to the hospital. It ended up not being too serious, and she got stitches and apparently the nurse told her, coming in an ambulance was a bit overkill and she should have asked someone or taken a taxi.
Well she recently got the ambulance bill and her insurance has no coverage for that and now she is acting cold towards me and keeps mentioning how much she has to pay for the bill. She passively aggressively mentioned a time when she had to drive me to the hospital for a suspected concussion and holds it over me, but I was not bleeding.
My car is not that expensive, it is an older corolla, but I still value it and blood cannot be cleaned easy.
AITA here?
EDIT: Ok i get it, I will pay for most of the ambulance bill.
