(bad at explaining so sorry) My boyfriend Devon and I (19m, 18f) recently had a little girl Emilie 1 month ago. Yes I know me and Devon are very young and I still have to graduate from highschool but, me and Devon love Emilie more than we ever thought we would. Well when I found out i was pregnant and told my family about it I was 17, my family was supportive except for My brother Oliver and his wife Ryleigh (30m, 30f), they are VERY against teen pregnancy. So when I told them about Emilie, they didn't hold back on the comments. They even went as far as saying "Is it to late to get an abortion?" this statement did kinda make cry (idk why) once my mom noticed this she made my dad get them to leave the house. After that our contact was very limited next time I saw them after that was at my gender reveal, I thought they actually came around to the idea that I was keeping Emilie but I was wrong they kept their distance the whole gender reveal and blew up when they saw the present Devon's parents got us (Devon parents got us a small but nice 2 bedroom apartment that we pay the bills for) SIL started screaming "HOW COULD YOU GUYS SUPPORT THIS! THEY ARE HAVING A CHILD AND SHE ISNT EVEN GRADUATED! AND HE HAS SOME CRAPPY JOB I KNOW WONT PAY THE DAMN BILLS" (Devon has a good job working for his parents) Well when she said this all hell broke lose I guess i started crying without realizing. Devon's dad and my dad were trying to kick the two out, my SIL left screaming, my brother was just quiet looking embarrassed I know this because we made eye contact as they left. After the gender reveal we didnt see them again, until yesterday. Devon's parents let him have the day off, so we took this oppitunity to have a little family day and went on a walk in the park. While we were there we saw Oliver and SIL with my nephew (did I mention they have a 4 yr old?). Once they noticed us they started walking towards us. Oliver awkwardly looked at us and then at the baby stroller and said "Is that Emilie inside there? We know her name because of mom and dad" I told him it was and it kinda fell into more awkwardness until my nephew said somerhing "Can I see baby?" I was about to say something when SIL cut me off "Well why not! Ameila, open the stroller." I told her no and that she didn't even want me to have her so why do you wanna see her? SIL looked embarrassed when I said that "Just open the damn stroller Ameila [nephew name] wants to see her". I then told her no saying I didnt feel comftable doing so for one the sun might wake her up and two after everything she said about Emilie i didnt want her see Emi. After a few times and even Devon sayjng somethings she let it go and left with Oliver and their son well a few hours later I got a few texts saying I was petty for not letting them see emilie and that it was a few months since it happened so let it go. So AITA??
Side note:I didnt say nephews name is because my brother and SIL dont post their son for privacy reasons
