AITA for blocking the emails of an amazon seller after receiving a refund for a product I (22F) left a scathing review of?

I bought a roughly $30 adult toy on Amazon with electronic components. It worked well for a few months, but I only used it maybe 3-4 times. Even with proper care and infrequent use, it stopped working after 3 months. The cursed thing overheated and actually caused me burns that I had to get treatment for. I said this in my review, although I did say it was functional the first few times around.

Not long after, the seller emailed me an offered a refund. I accepted. I got my money back but didn’t change the review.

The seller began making personal appeals in my inbox daily, ranging from “I discussed it with the factory manager, it will not happen again,” to “I have old aging parents to care for” to “I have children” to “what more do you want from me?” The emails are rife with spelling errors and lacking capitalization so I assume English is not his first language.

I honestly can’t even find the review on my account and this was getting out of hand so I just blocked his email. I am starting to feel guilty, though, and as if I really am ruining his career or something. Supposedly it’s a small seller, although the product has thousands of reviews. AITA for not changing the review despite getting my money back?
