AITA for not giving $ to MIL?

I 42F, my husband 42F met over 6 years ago and have a 4year old M. He and I would make just enough $ for us to get by. I was able to save over 28k in a year and a a half for the purchase of our home. Just enough for the home. We purchased our home less than 2 years ago. Not a whole lot was left over for furniture and extras. So, when he got a promotion it gave us the liberty to relax a little bit and start getting our home going. At the same time, my employed MIL67F started with, random can I "borrow" small amounts of $. Husband, recently got a decent bonus and told his mother and sister about it. I let him know that I wanted to buy our living room set OR our dining room table and chairs. Well, when MIL found out he had the cash. She expected him to give her a portion of that. When he told her he gave it to me for our home, she was not happy. She knows it would not share it because my priority is our family and our home. So, AITA?
