I (53M) am having a bit of a problem with my wife Karen (51F), basically recently invited me to a party at our house where she plans to do "energy cleansing" with a group of her friends. The thing is, I'm not really into this kind of thing as I think it's a load of nonsense and a waste of my time. Now Karen is upset with me and thinks that I'm being close-minded.
To give you some context, Karen is really into alternative medicene and that rubbish. She's always trying out meditation, pilates etc. So when Karen invited me to her "energy cleansing" party, I wasn't really sure how to respond, she told me that it involves burning herbs, doing yoga, and meditating to clear out negative energy from our bodies and minds.
This resulted in us having a big argument because I refused to attend and now she's making me sleep on the sofa tonight.
