I(28M) and my gf(27F) have been together for 2 years. We’ve never talked about past sexual history much but last week my friend complained to me his gf had too much of a history. He said she slept with 20+ people and was too open around men. I was just discussing it with her (trying not to judge but maybe I came across as judgy) and she seemed to think of something and ask how many I had slept with. I said 14 and she was like well I slept with 2 so in my eyes you are too open with girls. I was shocked and didn’t say it the best but I said my number isn’t as high as hers and she argued it’s all about prospective and to her my number is super high. I was kind of bummed about it and didn’t say the right things. I kind of made it sound like women’s body counts are different than men’s which she said was sexist(kinda true).
I don’t believe her number either she had 2 bfs before me so how can she have just slept with 2 people (including me). She got really mad and said she only dated the first one and never slept with them. But she also said they dated for 6 months. Which guy is going to be willing to wait 6 months to sleep with her? She made me wait 4 months btw and I was really pissed near the end because that amount of waiting was literally her testing me.
I questioned her on how she made anyone wait 6 months which she took as she wasn’t worth the wait and then she walked out of my place and has refused to talk to me since Saturday. I feel like it’s not the nicest conversation but she has to realize that socially I’m right to question it and that men and women’s body counts are different socially.
