I was born to my 16-year-old mom who had no money or job to support me. Growing up was tough, and my mom only worked when my grandma threatened to take me away. I spent most of my childhood with my grandma. When I was 10, my mom took me away to live with her and her broke boyfriend. I would sometimes go to bed hungry, and my mom was hardly ever around.
At 12, I started working odd jobs to make some money and even took care of my brother when he was born. Last year, my mom got a job, but now she's pregnant again, and I'm upset that she's having another child when she can't take care of the ones she already has. We got into an argument, and I told her I was tired and not going to help her.
Since then, her boyfriend's friends broke into my home, trashed my nail supplies, and stole some wigs. I had to call the cops. I want to get emancipated because I can't deal with the situation anymore. Am I the asshole?
