I (18F) recently moved in with two good friends, and their friend (20M). I get along perfectly fine with my other two roommates but sometimes i can’t stand 20M.
It started after me and 20M got in a disagreement about a car, usually during a disagreement with our roommates we all stay very cordial with each other. This time 20M made a disrespectful remark towards me and i jus left the room. i forgot about it and moved on - but ever since then it’s like my presence pisses him off. Anytime i say anything he scoffs or rolls his eyes, He’ll use my dishes and leave them in his room for weeks, he’d smoke my shi and not invite me.
So i began keeping my things in my room so he didn’t have access to them. This became a large issue at the house, because 20M was upset he couldn’t smoke my stuff, or use my things, and my other roommates were upset with me for upsetting him. One time he got pretty aggressive with me and yelled at me, the the next day taped flowers to my door, with a note saying “seems like you’ve had a rough day” I’ve known my other roommates for more than 8 years, while i’ve only known 20M for a couple months.
I don’t feel comfortable being home when he’s there (and he doesn’t work so he’s always there). It got to the point where i cannot live with him and i expressed this to my other roommates and was told i should just put up with it til their lease is up. Im not on the lease, so technically i could dip whenever but would that make me TA?
